Ruben Onsu Had No Idea He Had to Undergo a Psychological Test and Answer 500 Questions

For that reason, Ruben and Sarwendah have to go through a long and complicated series of hearings. One of them is undergoing a psychological test by answering around 500 questions from the court and psychologists.

"I didn't expect to have to answer 500 questions. They said it was just a test, I didn't know the number of questions. The requirement is not just from the psychologist. So it's directly a psychological test, 500 questions that we have to handle. Because in my mind, there's only Betrand, Thalia, Thania, so I answer all those questions. I went through it well, whether it's me or Wendah," said Ruben when met in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/1).

1. Sarwendah Feels Like Giving Birth to Betrand Peto

This complicated process made Sarwendah feel like Betrand was born from her own fetus. In addition, Ruben and Sarwendah have felt a calling that makes them truly feel like Betrand's biological parents.

"That's why Wendah wrote, 'I didn't give birth to him, but I feel like I did because the whole process was complicated. She felt this whole process as being pregnant and giving birth. In a different way. That's why Betrand, Thalia, Thania have been in our thoughts as a family," she continued.

2. Still an Adopted Child

Ruben emphasizes that Betrand's current status is still an adopted child. This is said to be very important because it will affect various administrative matters, such as family cards, passport applications, and the like.

"It's a requirement from the court. I am currently in the custody stage. At Betrand's age of 17, if I'm not mistaken, there will still be another hearing to see if I can still have custody of Betrand or not. For him, after custody, it's adoption. So currently, the status in court is custody, and both of Betrand's parents have given their custody to me," Ruben concluded.
