Ruben Onsu Suspects He Is Deliberately Prevented From Meeting His Child Because There Is 'Someone Else'

Behind the conflict of restricted access to meet the children by Sarwendah, Ruben Onsu's side revealed two major concerns. First, the suspicion of 'someone else' being the reason he is prevented from meeting his child. Second, Ruben's objection regarding his children's involvement in commercial activities at night.

Ruben's attorney, Minola Sebayang, disclosed a finding that made his client suspicious. At the moment of his daughter's ballet event, where Ruben could not meet her, Sarwendah was allegedly with someone.

"Upon investigation, it turns out that the reason Ruben should be suspected of not being informed is this, friends. Apparently, at that moment, she (Sarwendah) wanted to be with someone. This is Ruben's conclusion," said Minola Sebayang in Pulomas, East Jakarta, Saturday (15/11/2025), while showing a photo on his phone.

This suspicion is what makes Ruben feel that there is another reason behind the difficulty in meeting his children, not just a technical reason.

In addition, Ruben Onsu also openly expressed his objections to his children often being involved in live sessions on the TikTok platform at night for commercial purposes. According to him, this has the potential to lead to child exploitation.

"Not to mention our clients also complain. The law also prohibits young children from being exploited in any form of work. Especially if, for example, the live session is at night," Minola emphasized.

Ruben feels that, as a father, he has the right to give consent regarding his children's activities. However, he feels he has never been asked for permission regarding this matter.

"Children are not allowed to work, that is prohibited. Even if there is permission from their parents, it must be from both parties. Not just the mother. Ruben objects to his child being involved," he continued.

Ruben's side suspects that the press conference regarding the debt collector held by Sarwendah's camp is a form of issue diversion from these two crucial problems.

Now, the conflict between Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah is widening, not only concerning financial matters but also extending to custody issues, allegations of a third party, and the potential exploitation of children.
