Rumors of Coki Pardede's Involvement in Drug Networks of Artists Circulate, Management Responds

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Coki Pardede has just been arrested by the police for drug abuse. He was apprehended at his residence in Tangerang area on Tuesday afternoon (1/9), along with his friend named Welly.

Until now, the police are still investigating the case. The management of Majelis Luci Indonesia (MLI) stated that they have not received any latest information regarding the progress of Coki's case.

"We are still waiting and just found out that Coki's release has been postponed. We are waiting for updates from the police on when and how it will proceed," said Gianluigi, a representative from MLI management, when contacted by Kapanlagi.com via telephone on Friday (3/9).

"Perhaps the release has not happened yet because there was further investigation at Coki's house related to this MLI talent case. The management has also not received any information," he added.

1. Management's Rebuttal

The development carried out by the police is acknowledged by Gian, as there have been rumors circulating that Coki is involved in a drug network among artists. However, Gian can confirm that Coki is not at all involved with that network.

"We didn't get anything, the police are just trying to find out if there is any additional evidence or anything else. Because there are rumors regarding Coki's involvement with the artists' drug network. But I can assure you from MLI management that Coki has no connection with the artists' drug network out there," he said.

As the representative of the management overseeing Coki Pardede, Gian also emphasized that he doesn't know where his artist obtained the drugs from. Until now, they are still monitoring the progress of Coki's case.

"I have no idea at all. We are still monitoring the ongoing process," he concluded.
