This information is known from the post of fellow celebrity friend, Nova Soraya. Through her Instagram account, Nova uploaded a photo of her togetherness with Edy Oglek expressing her grief.
"Duuuuuun why did you leave me???????????????? Innallilahiwainnailaihirajiuun???????? I apologize for my mistakes all this time, may you rest in peace with Allah SWT, Aaaamiiin," he wrote in the caption.
He also thanked him for being a good friend and partner all this time. Nova Soraya was indeed Edy's partner in shooting the soap opera Tukang Bubur Naik Haji, portraying the characters Romlah and Kardun.
"Thank you for our cooperation all this time, thank you for being a good partner, not stingy with knowledge and a friend for discussion, conversation, jokes, and even arguments even though it's just acting.. We had many plans that haven't been realized, but Allah has other plans.. I'm really going to miss you, bro," he added.
Edy is known to have passed away after previously being exposed to Covid-19. His real name is Edy Suwandi and he was born in Jakarta on July 14, 1966. He became more well-known after playing as Kardun in the soap opera Tukang Bubur Naik Haji.
