"Friends, my dad suddenly collapsed today and is in critical condition. Please pray for him to be strong and recover," he wrote on his Instagram Story.

Although he couldn't come right away, Jerome still tried to stay close to his family through video calls.

He continues to monitor his father's condition while hoping the situation improves and stabilizes soon.

Jerome chose to cancel all work schedules and events to be by his father's side in Surabaya.

"Today I will go to Surabaya... I apologize for having to cancel/pending everything. Once again, please help pray for my dad's recovery," he wrote.

After arriving at the hospital, Jerome immediately gave the latest news to his fans and followers on social media.

"Dad, Jerome is here. Everyone is praying for you. You have to get better, okay Dad?" he said with a heartfelt tone.

Jerome could not hide his sadness when he saw his father lying weakly on the hospital bed.

"Dad, come on wake up. Everyone is waiting for you, there’s so much to do, right Dad? Many people love you," he said.
