Momo Geisha has just held the Saur Matua traditional ceremony for her beloved late mother who has just passed away. This Batak traditional ceremony was held by Momo at her mother's residence in Pekanbaru, Riau.

Momo Geisha looks beautiful in traditional Batak attire at her mother's Saur Matua death ceremony. Despite being in mourning, Momo prepared her appearance well for the traditional ceremony.
The Saur Matua tradition is a death ceremony of the Batak Toba community held for someone who has passed away at an old age and has complete descendants (children and grandchildren), signifying a perfect and complete life in kinship, thus this death is considered an achievement worth celebrating.
That is why Momo presented herself beautifully for her mother's ceremony. She honored her late mother with a beautiful and graceful appearance at the Saur Matua traditional ceremony.
The Saur Matua traditional procession is not only an expression of grief but also a manifestation of gratitude and final respect, and is one of the ideal deaths aspired to in Batak culture. Momo participated in the ceremony with reverence from start to finish.
However, Momo cannot hide her sorrow over the loss of her beloved mother. Now she has been left by both of her parents forever.
In addition to holding a ceremony in Batak tradition, Momo also conducted a service according to Christian rites. She placed flowers for her late mother inside the coffin before it was closed.
Accompanied by her husband and children as well as her in-laws, Momo sang during the service for the deceased. They all prayed for Momo's late mother to rest in peace by His side.
