Sad to Have to Spend Ramadan Behind Bars, Adam Deni Asks His Mother to Cook Rendang for Him

Kapanlagi.com - The case that befell social media activist Adam Deni landed him in prison. Then in this year's Ramadan, for the first time, he is fasting behind bars. Because of this, the defendant in the alleged ITE Law case expressed his sadness at not being able to spend Ramadan with his beloved family.

However, even though he has to fast behind bars, Adam Deni can still enjoy his favorite food. Because not long ago, he asked his mother, Susiani, to make him rendang.

"It feels sad because usually we fast at home with family and girlfriend too," said Adam Deni at the North Jakarta District Court, North Jakarta, Wednesday (6/4).

1. Not Wanting to Sink into Sadness

Although Adam Deni is still undergoing his legal case, he admits that he does not want to sink into sadness. The 25-year-old man chooses to be open-minded when he has to live his life in prison.

"Yesterday, my mother just sent it to me. Rendang lung, it's my favorite food," he continued.

2. Adam Deni's Arrest

It is known that Adam Deni was arrested on February 1, 2022, around 7:00 p.m. at his residence in the Jati Asih area, Bekasi. Adam Deni's arrest was confirmed by the Head of the Public Information Division of the Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan.

Now Adam Deni has been detained at the Bareskrim Mabes Polri Detention Center. Defendant Adam Deni and Ni Made Dwita Anggari were charged by the Prosecutor's Office with Article 48 Paragraph (3) jo Article 32 Paragraph (3) of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) as amended and supplemented by Law Number 19 of 2016 Jo Article 55 Paragraph (1) ke-1 KUHP.

"I just go through it, I take the lesson from it, it's better," he said.
