Safa emphasized that her relationship with Ridwan Kamil is purely friendship and professional. "Oh my, yes. Actually, this is just a rumor. I am very sad to be the target of Indonesian netizens, whereas he and I are just friends," she said when met in the Jalan Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (29/12/2025).

Safa recounted the beginning of her acquaintance with the man commonly known as RK, which occurred in 2021 at a motorcycle community event. At that time, she had a photo taken with him because she was impressed by the public official.

That moment was then misinterpreted by netizens. "We met twice. One of them was in 2021 at a breaking-the-fast event for the motorcycle community. At that time, my motorcycle was going viral, and I met Mr. Ridwan Kamil. I took a photo with him because he is the Governor of West Java, who wouldn't want to take a photo?" Safa explained.
