This Arab-Indonesian woman expressed that the intention to perform umrah came to her after this year's Ramadan. She feels her heart called to depart immediately.

"Actually, it's quite like, oh man, I really want to do it after last month's fasting. Because before this, it was like, maybe later for umrah," said Sahila Hisyam when met in the Kebayoran area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (14/10/2025).
Sahila admitted that she hadn't felt a strong urge before. However, now she feels truly ready in intention and spirit to carry out the worship.
"For me, when it comes to umrah, I want it to be a genuine intention. Well, I only felt called to it after last month's fasting," she added.
The first person she invited to realize this noble intention was her older brother. Although he was initially hesitant, her brother eventually agreed to go together, even changing his vacation plans to Japan.
This trip will be a very rare family gathering moment, considering her siblings do not live in Indonesia. They plan to depart next December.
Preparations have already begun. Sahila admitted that she has started contacting a visa agent and has even purchased plane tickets.
For guidance on worship, she will ask her parents who have more experience performing Umrah. "I will probably ask mom and dad about it," she said.
Although her main focus is worship, Sahila does not deny that she will still seek culinary recommendations from her friends who have been there before. This trip is hoped to be an unforgettable spiritual experience for her and her family.
