Sammy Simorangkir Allowed to Go Home After Post-Accident Surgery

Kapanlagi.com - Sammy Simorangkir recently had a motorcycle accident while touring, which resulted in a broken bone. Because of this, he had to undergo surgery on Saturday (4/7/2020). Fortunately, his condition is good enough and he has even been allowed to go home.

"Everyone wants to come, but I told them that the hospital rules do not allow anyone to visit, so we have to follow the rules. Initially, if there were many visitors, I would prefer to stay in the hospital, but if no one visited and brought food, I would prefer to go home," Sammy said when met at Hermina Hospital with his wife after the surgery.

1. Allowed to Go Home Immediately

Sammy Simorangkir was indeed allowed to go home quickly from the hospital. Because his condition is good, the doctor allowed him to receive outpatient treatment.

"Yes, according to the doctor, I had the surgery at 8 o'clock and by 10 o'clock, I was already joking and lifting my leg. So, according to the doctor, I am strong enough to go home," he said.

2. Prohibitions During the Recovery Period

Although there are not many restrictions during the recovery period, Sammy is still not allowed to bear weight for some time in the future. However, he still chooses not to use a wheelchair.

"There are no restrictions, the important thing is that the legs cannot bear weight for 2 weeks, but if they are lifted and moved, they must be, the ankle is difficult like being blocked by iron... at home using a cane, using a computer chair," said the singer whose leg must be fitted with the aforementioned pen.
