Jeje Govinda's mother, Farida Budyarti, has finally been buried at TPU Cipinang Hanafi, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/12). It was previously known that the deceased's body had been kept in the funeral home for a long time, awaiting Jeje's arrival from London.
This is the process of burying Jeje Govinda's late mother.
Jeje himself requested to postpone the burial in order to see his mother's body one last time. And that wish was granted.
After the funeral procession, Jeje Govinda said that his mother is now at peace. Not only that, his mother has also reunited with his late father and brother.
This 40-year-old man revealed that his mother's body was buried in the same grave as his late father and brother.
"So now, my mother is at peace with my father and my brother. Hopefully, she will be accepted. Once again, I thank you," said Jeje Govinda.
In addition, Jeje is also grateful to finally arrive in Indonesia after a long journey from London. However, his wife and children could not attend.
He revealed that Syahnaz and their two children had to stay in London because they couldn't get plane tickets to Indonesia.
"Alhamdulillah, I managed to catch up to Indonesia, my family is still there, the kids are still there," said Jeje to the mourners and journalists present.
"Alhamdulillah, I was also able to bury my late mother. Once again, thank you on behalf of the family," he added.
