Sarwendah, who also studies Chinese traditions, explained that the four-year age difference between them actually brings good fortune.

"Yes, according to the Chinese, a four-year difference is compatible. Because in Chinese culture, a difference of 4 and 8 is compatible, while 3 and 6 are said to be chiong. Chiong means not compatible," she explained.

Although holding firmly to that belief, Sarwendah still emphasizes that the main key to her current "official" relationship is comfort.
