Screaming Through the Court Mic & Refusing to Return to the Detention Center, Nikita Mirzani: Play the Recording!

Drama once again colors the trial of controversial artist, Nikita Mirzani. Moments after the hearing was adjourned, she created a tense atmosphere in the South Jakarta District Court with her reckless actions: going on a rampage and refusing to be taken back to the Pondok Bambu Detention Center.

This emotional moment occurred on Thursday (31/7/2025), after the panel of judges completed the witness examination agenda. When the prosecution officials attempted to escort her out, Nikita Mirzani firmly refused to leave her seat. She insisted that she would not go until the recording she possessed was played in front of everyone. Here are the details.

With a face full of anger, Nikita stated that her patience has run out after five months languishing in detention for a case she considers a ridiculous farce.

"I demand that the recording be played. I don't want to go home or go to the detention center for such a ridiculous criminal case. I've already been silent for 5 months," Nikita said in a high-pitched tone.

Not receiving the response she desired, the emotions of the woman commonly known as Nyai boiled over. Without hesitation, with the courtroom microphone, she shouted even louder, demanding that the recording be played.

Not stopping there, he even threatened to play the recording himself from his personal phone if his request continued to be ignored by the officers. "If not, I will play it from my phone. Okay sir, play it," he challenged.

Nikita feels that she is a victim of a planned criminalization. She believes that the recording is key evidence that could uncover the conspiracy behind her case. "For five months I was detained, this is my personal case being criminalized," she asserted.

The peak of his anger was when he leaked a bit of the content of the recording, which he claimed contained conversations among Reza Gladys's family about attempts to condition the judges and prosecutors with certain codes.

"There are words, chocolate, one star, the prosecutor and the judge have been conditioned in this case, that was stated by the family of Reza Gladys themselves," he revealed.

Nikita Mirzani's act of resistance suddenly made the atmosphere tense for about 30 minutes, before the officers finally managed to persuade her to return to the detention center.
