Kapanlagi.com - Every singer surely has a special list of requests to be provided in their waiting room, commonly known as riders. Singer Raisa revealed that her mandatory ritual before going on stage is consuming fruits, especially lemons.
According to the singer of Could It Be, consuming fruits not only boosts her immune system but also improves her mood and maintains her voice to be in prime condition during performances.
"All my friends who have been backstage with me or have invited me to events surely know that one of my riders is fresh fruits and lemons," said Raisa during a virtual interview some time ago.
"Because before every performance, I always drink warm water with fresh lemon juice and honey. I think it relaxes my throat, provides a lot of nutrients, and makes me more prepared for that day's performance," she added.
When having to wait long backstage, Raisa indeed prefers fruits over snacks. Besides lemons, she also likes to eat apples and bananas.
"Certainly, when waiting for a long time backstage, usually the snacks are just fruits so that there will still be vitamins instead of just eating regular snacks," said Hamish Daud's wife.
"I like apples and bananas the most because it seems like throughout the day, sometimes I forget to eat or suddenly feel weak, eating a banana or an apple can boost my mood again. But the one I consume the most is lemons," she added.
Especially since the pandemic, Raisa has started to realize the importance of consuming nutritious and nourishing foods.
"Since the pandemic, we all have started to realize the importance of the foods we consume, especially from the nutritional aspect," said the singer born on June 6, 1990.
Not only that, because of the pandemic, Raisa has become more diligent in exercising. One of the sports she now enjoys is badminton. She also doesn't forget to consume fruits before exercising.
"Since watching the Olympics, I really like badminton and I think it's very Indonesian, playing badminton from the roadside to now renting a hall. If we eat before exercising or eat right after exercising, we become tired and sleepy. But if we consume fruits, we will definitely feel fresher and healthier for exercising," Raisa explained.
As the Brand Ambassador for HALOFRESH, Raisa invites all Indonesian people to diligently consume fruits and vegetables. Because besides being healthy for the body, it can also improve immunity in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Hi, friends, to maintain our immune system, to keep us young and energetic, let's eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to stay healthy," Raisa concluded.
HALOFRESH also invites several influencers with different backgrounds known as #HALOPeople to help spread and socialize the campaign HALO #mydailygoodness to the wider community.
