Senior Musician Oddie Agam Passes Away After Experiencing Shortness of Breath, Here's What Deddy Dhukun Says

Kapanlagi.com - Singer and songwriter Oddie Agam passed away at Persahabatan Hospital on Wednesday (27/10/2021) at around 11:00 AM WIB. The news was confirmed by Oddie Agam's close friend, Deddy Dhukun, when contacted by the media on Wednesday (27/10/2021).

"Yes, Uncle Oddie Agam passed away today. If I'm not mistaken, the information came at 11:00 AM from Mas Egon, I don't know the exact time but I received the news from Mas Egon at that time," said Deddy Dhukun.

"The funeral and burial arrangements will be informed by the extended family," added Deddy.

1. Experiencing Respiratory Problems

Previously, Oddie Agam was taken to Persahabatan Hospital since Tuesday (5/10/2021). He was rushed because he had a cough.

In addition to experiencing a cough, the legendary musician also had respiratory problems. After undergoing several tests, it turned out that Oddie also had a considerable amount of mucus in his body.

The news of Oddie Agam's passing was also confirmed by the family. Through a broadcast message to fellow journalists, the family expressed their condolences and also the funeral time, which is planned to be held at TPU Kemiri, Rawamangun, East Jakarta.

"Assalamualaikum, warahmatullahi, wabarakatuh to all my family. Bang Agam has performed Asr prayer and will be buried in the Sunan Giri Public Cemetery, Rawa Mangun. His body will be prayed for at Persahabatan Mosque. Please pray for his smooth journey by ALLAH," the message reads.
