Serious Injuries, Debu Drummer Daood Abdullah Involved in an Accident on Probolinggo Toll Road - Two Passengers Died

Kapanlagi.com - A convoy of the Islamic music group, Debu, had an accident at KM 837.200 of the Pasuruan-Probolinggo Toll Road (Paspro) from east to west, Probolinggo City, East Java, on Monday (4/18) at 00.00 WIB. Two people died in the accident.

The two people who died were Al-Haddad Amal Sheikh Aidaros, a Malaysian citizen, and an unidentified man.

Two people were seriously injured, Daood Abullah and Umar. Meanwhile, two people who were lightly injured were Jamilah Binti Abdul Qadir (Malaysian citizen) and the driver whose identity has not been found.

Daood Abdullah, Debu's drummer, was one of the Debu personnel involved in the accident. This was confirmed by Ibrahim, Debu's manager, via a short message.

"As-Salaamu Alaykum. The information I received from the family who was there is that there was only one member of DEBU in the car, which was Daood (drummer). Daood broke his leg, but thank God his condition is stable. He is being transferred to Surabaya for surgery. His condition is still critical, so please pray for him," said Ibrahim, Debu's manager via WhatsApp on Monday (4/18).

The Head of PJR of East Java Regional Police, Dwi Sumrahadi, revealed the chronology of the accident that occurred on Monday (18/4) early morning through a press release received by journalists.

"Initially, the Vellfire vehicle was driving slowly from the East towards Pasuruan, the driver is suspected of being drowsy and unable to control the speed of the vehicle, causing it to collide with a Truck of Class III that was traveling in the same direction in front of it (leaving the scene). The last position of the Vellfire vehicle crossed the lane," said Dwi Sumrahadi.

2. Daood Referred to Surabaya

Material losses in the form of a heavily damaged Toyota Vellfire vehicle in the front. All victims were evacuated to RS Dr Saleh Kota Probolinggo.

According to Debu's manager, Daood was referred to a hospital in Surabaya for further surgery and treatment.
