Ivan Gunawan Willingly Returns DNA Pro Money without Being Asked by Police

Kapanlagi.com - Famous presenter Ivan Gunawan has claimed that he has returned the money he earned as a brand ambassador for DNA Pro. He stated this after undergoing questioning as a witness in the DNA Pro trading robot fraud case.

"Today, with my intention and good faith, I returned the total contract given by DNA Pro to Bareskrim because it is a blessing that Allah has entrusted to me," said Ivan Gunawan on Thursday (14/4).

In fact, Ivan Gunawan returned the money he earned without being asked by investigators. He put the money into a suitcase estimated to be worth hundreds of millions.

"I was not asked to return it, I took the initiative to return it. I don't want to accept it today, so it's better to return it," he said.

2. Former Brand Ambassador

Ivan Gunawan felt that the money was not his, even though he had fulfilled his obligations as a brand ambassador for about 3 months.

"Basically, I don't feel like it's my fortune and a big lesson that I can take is how important it is for us to know and not easily believe those who want to use us as endorsers or advertising models," he explained.

"My relationship with DNA Pro is that I am only an ambassador who was initially contracted for 3 months for Instagram," Ivan Gunawan added.

3. More Careful

Following the incident, Ivan Gunawan admitted that he will be more careful in accepting jobs that come his way.

"I am very careful because you guys love to fry my story. Today, I'm happy that my friends have received news from me and I don't owe anyone anything," he concluded.

4. DNA Pro Victims

As is known, 122 people who claimed to be victims of the DNA Pro robot trading platform filed a report to the Bareskrim Polri on Monday, March 28, 2022.

The report is registered with number B/185/IV/RES.2.1/2022/Dittipideksus for the alleged fraud case disguised as DNA Pro binary option trading.

A total of 56 people have been reported to the police, ranging from founders to commissioners of DNA Pro. From this case, the police estimate that the temporary losses suffered by the victims amount to IDR 97 billion.

Meanwhile, the police have already named 12 suspects in the case of alleged fraud via the DNA Pro trading robot, including Stefanus Richard.
