Falcon Pictures Ready to Release Seven Films from May to December 2022, What Are They?

Kapanlagi.com - On Thursday afternoon (14/4/2022), the well-known production house Falcon Pictures held an event called Falcon Showcase. On the occasion, it was announced that seven films are ready to be released in cinemas throughout Indonesia every month from May to December.

The seven titles that will be screened include CINTA SUBUH starting on May 19th, MY SASSY GIRL starting on June 23rd, 12 CERITA GLEN ANGGARA starting on August 18th, and MIRACLE IN CELL NO 7 starting on September 8th. HELLO GHOST will start on October 20th, YANG PATAH TUMBUH, YANG HILANG BERGANTI will start on November 24th, and to close out the year, there's WARKOP DKI KARTUN starting on December 29th.

1. Strong Films

The seven titles chosen for release were carefully considered. Frederica, the producer of Falcon Pictures, is confident that these seven films can become a catalyst for revitalizing the public's interest in going to the cinema.

"It is known that Falcon often releases films based on big IP (Intellectual Property) or in other words, those that are already popular. But I believe that these seven films are strong enough to be our first catalyst as a commitment and to show the public," said Frederica, who was met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta.

2. Save 20 Film Titles

For the past three years, Falcon Pictures has not been idle. Although they were briefly halted due to the pandemic, they have prepared many titles that have been completed and will be produced.

"The pandemic that has hit us is not good for Falcon and the entertainment industry as a whole in Indonesia. But we didn't just sit idly by, we remained responsible for providing employment opportunities. It is proven that we have collected 20 film titles that we have not yet released. We must continue to create and not stop here," added Frederica.

3. Becoming a Regular Event

The Falcon Showcase, which was held so grandly, turned out to be the beginning of a regular event for the production house based in the Duren Tiga area of South Jakarta. Because in the future, every six months they will hold a similar event.

"Falcon will start a showcase that we will make every six months. This year we will start by releasing seven films from May to December 2022," said Frederica.
