SkinnyIndonesian24 Uploads 'Retirement' Video From YouTube, Official or Gimmick?

Kapanlagi.com - SkinnyIndonesian24's YouTube channel owned by the Lopez Brothers, Jovial da Lopez and Andovi da Lopez, has decided to no longer be active on the platform that has made their name famous.

This was first known through Jovial da Lapoz's Instagram account, which uploaded content asking fans to choose their favorite video on SkinnyIndonesian24 so far. This was followed by Andovi da Lopez, who uploaded a short video bidding farewell to their fans.

Finally, SkinnyIndonesian24's YouTube channel uploaded their last video titled 'Last Video SkinnyIndonesian24 | Goodbye' on Thursday, (24/06/2021).

1. Farewell Speech

In addition to the farewell speech, this final video itself highlights the content about life behind the scenes and the figures who have been living and working at SkinnyIndonesian24, which are none other than Jovial da Lopez and Andovi da Lopez themselves.

"We want to invite you to get to know us better, because all this time we have often shown our work. Rarely do we expose or open up about who we really are, so this is Andovi and Jovial da Lopez," said Jovial opening the farewell video.

2. Reported Long Ago

Actually, this farewell has been announced by them long ago, precisely on June 24, 2020. In the content they uploaded at that time, both Andovi and Jovial explained the reasons for them to stop working on the SkinnyIndonesian24 channel.

"Part of my reason is that I want to pursue my own path, but it doesn't mean that Jovial and I are enemies. Clearly, we are not enemies, we are siblings," said Andovi.

3. Reasons for quitting

As for Jovial, their decision to quit was mainly because the YouTube system no longer aligned with what they both felt before.

"I don't know, maybe it's a bit selfish, but I feel like there's no appreciation for the energy we put in," Jovial said.
