"Alhamdulillah Niki was divorced yesterday, Dipo Latief filed an appeal. The appeal has reached the Supreme Court, the highest court, and lost again. It means he only has to appeal to God. If he wants to appeal again, it means there is no more option. The Supreme Court is already the highest," said Nikita Mirrzani, who looked happy to be officially divorced from Dipo Latief when met by the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (25/2).

In addition, Nikita Mirzani said she didn't want to ask for recognition from this case. She just wants to provide valuable lessons for women who are still trapped in unofficial marriages so that every woman can fight for her right to obtain a legal marital status.

"Actually, I'm not here to ask for recognition. But I just want to give a lesson to all Indonesian women, even if you have an unofficial marriage, it can be registered, legalized," said Nikita.

"What I mean is, Indonesian girls shouldn't be stupid enough to be treated unfairly by men like that. You also have rights, you also have the right to legalize your marriage," she concluded.
