Sony Ismail, J-Rocks Guitarist, and His Wife Test Positive for Covid-19

Kapanlagi.com - Unpleasant news came from Sony Ismail, guitarist of the band J-Rocks. The man with his distinctive long hair and black glasses announced the news of his positive Covid-19 test through his personal Instagram account on Friday (11/12).

Furthermore, Sony explained the chronology of the places he visited before testing positive for Covid-19. He also mentioned the symptoms he experienced before deciding to undergo a swab test.

"Okay guys, I tested positive for Covid-19. Just sharing a little bit, if the 3M (wear mask, wash hands, maintain distance) rule must be followed. I felt uncomfortable after returning from Jogja last week. Two days after I arrived home, I had a fever and a sore throat. I thought it was just fatigue from driving, so I decided to go to a general practitioner. I was given medication and antibiotics. Usually, when I take antibiotics, I start to feel better, but this time it didn't improve. And the symptoms kept getting worse. I had headaches, fever, and coughing," Sony wrote in his IG Story post.

1. Isolation in Hospital

Since being declared as a positive Covid-19 patient with symptoms, Sony is required to undergo treatment in a referral hospital. Even until now, he mentioned that his condition is still not fit.

"Finally, I took a swab test with a positive result. And almost all the symptoms are there (except shortness of breath). Now I am in a government referral hospital, isolated, under the supervision of healthcare workers here. My condition is still not very good, I still have a lot of cough, but God willing, all of this can be quickly overcome," added the guitarist.

2. Sony's Wife Also Tested Positive for Covid-19

Not only Sony, apparently his wife, Yesica Amami, was also declared positive for Covid-19. The difference is, Yesica did not experience any symptoms at all. Considering how dangerous this virus is, Sony reminds fans to always implement health protocols as mandated by the government.

"My wife @yesica_amami is also positive without symptoms, she is self-isolating at home. Guys, please always use your mask. Anywhere. It's real guys! I am also quite concerned, always wearing a mask, bringing hand sanitizer, washing hands, but this virus is no joke. Last but not least, stay safe, stay healthy everyone," concluded Sony.
