Standupindo President Emphasizes that Standup Fest 2023 Audience Must Not Wear Party Clothes

Kapanlagi.com - Standup Fest 2023 is ready to be held next Sunday. The event, which has been on hiatus for eight years, will take place on August 4, 5, 6, 2023 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta. Standupindo President, Adjis Doaibu, stated that the preparations for Standup Fest 2023 are in the final stages.

"If we talk about the percentage, we're already at 90 percent. The remaining 10 percent is just the running phase, so far everything is going smoothly, Alhamdulillah, we only face minor obstacles," said Adjis Doaibu when met at the Comika office, South Jakarta, on Monday (31/7/2023).

Adjis also revealed that there are several conditions that the audience must not do when attending Standup Fest 2023. The most important one is that the audience is not allowed to wear party clothes.

"We cannot bring unrelated things, because now it's almost the campaign period, so those who come are not allowed to wear party clothes, that's the main point," said Adjis Doaibu.

"Because I don't want him to take a photo, and also not allowed to bring a piece of paper with the writing 'This person becomes President' unless it's okay in other places," added Adjis Doaibu.

Furthermore, the audience is not allowed to record when the comedian performs at Standup Fest 2023.

"Recording activities are indeed prohibited, friends can bring mirrorless cameras, can bring professional cameras, but only for taking photos, if you want to record for memories maybe it's free," said Adjis.

As the president of Standupindo, Adjis believes that the audience in Indonesia already knows the rules when watching Standup Comedy live.

2. Presenting 164 Comedians

"But our audience seems to be used to it, they already understand. Because the purpose of not allowing recording and uploading is not because we don't want to lose, no," said Adjis.

"We don't really lose, it's the viewers who lose. You have already paid to watch, you record it, you give it for free to others, the education goes in that direction," concluded Adjis.

Standup Fest 2023 will present 164 comedians for three consecutive days. A series of comedians have been confirmed to be present at the event. Starting from Boris Bokir, Bintang Emon, Marshel Widianto, Kiky Saputri, Arif Brata, Oza Rangkuti, Nopek Novian, to Ardit Erwandha.

3. Relevant to Various Campaigns

The presence of Standup Fest 2024 is also inseparable from the support of Nivea Men. According to a representative from Nivea Men, Boban explained that the presence of Standup Fest 2023 is relevant to various campaigns that have been conducted.

In addition, Standup Fest 2023 also received support from MRT Jakarta. They support various activities initiated by friends from the creative industry. In line with the material presented by the comedians, one of which is about criticism of everyday social issues.
