10 Portraits of the Fun Collaboration between Kerispatih and Sammy Simorangkir in the Gen-P Generasi Pesta Concert, Becoming a Nostalgic Event for Fans

The Gen-P Generasi Pesta concert featuring Kerispatih and Sammy Simorangkir was held at Bengkel Space SCBD, South Jakarta, on Wednesday night (2/8). The event was undoubtedly lively and enthusiastically welcomed by fans.

Kerispatih started their performance with five consecutive songs by their vocalist Fandy. The songs performed were Akhir Penantian, Tetap Mengerti, Pernah Terluka, Lihat Hatiku, and Tertatih.

The atmosphere in the pub became more lively when the sixth song started, Sammy Simorangkir went up on stage with the song Mengenangmu.

Sammy also greeted the fans who came to reminisce.

At one moment, Kerispatih also remembered their bassist Andika Putrasahadewa who passed away in 2018.

“This song was actually created quite a long time ago, the events in 2018 depict this story, we lost one of our good friends who passed away, Andika,” said Sammy after singing the song Mengenangmu.

After that, Sammy continued his performance by singing Kerispatih's hit songs from their first album when he was still the vocalist, such as Kejujuran Hati, Aku Harus Jujur, Kesalahan yang Sama, and Tapi Bukan Aku.

“It's called nostalgia, many stories have passed. Kerispatih is a history for me. I am who I am now because of Kerispatih. And history never fades with time,” said Sammy.

Then the show continued with the singing of Tak Lekang Oleh Waktu and followed by Lagu Rindu, Bila Rasaku Ini Rasamu, and Demi Cinta. Next, Sammy Simorangkir called Fandy Santoso back on stage for a duet.

They then sang the song Cinta Putih and closed with the song Sepanjang Usia.

Overall, Kerispatih and Sammy Simorangkir entertained their fans for approximately 2 hours.
