Stasya Bwarlele Shares the Struggle of Studying Medicine in Russia, Ussy Sulistiawaty Can't Believe It

Stasya shared with Ussy her struggles during her undergraduate studies in the field of medicine in Russia. Before going to Russia, Stasya was a student of electrical engineering but felt that it was not something she wanted.

"I studied there, I was there for three and a half years," Stasya began her story.

1. Challenges in a Foreign Country

Although initially her parents did not support Stasya's decision to study abroad, they gave permission after being explained. Stasya's academic journey in Russia was full of challenges. Stasya's mother passed away shortly before Stasya departed to Russia and her father passed away 3 years later.

In addition to being abandoned by her parents, Stasya also faced difficulties due to economic conditions. Stasya admitted that she couldn't afford to pay for the dormitory at that time, so she had to keep herself warm in the subway station when the weather was very cold. In such conditions, Stasya had to give up getting her medical degree.

"I have never told this on my YouTube channel. I haven't paid for the dormitory, then I was cold, and I had to stay in my friend's room. Every 6 o'clock I had to leave because I couldn't let anyone know. I had to go to the subway to warm myself in -30 degrees Celsius," Stasya confided to Ussy.

2. Learning from Life Experiences

However, the challenges experienced by Stasya are seen as lessons that teach the harshness of life. When she returned to her homeland, Stasya was grateful because many people helped her.

Stasya began to transform into a woman after meeting Lucinta Luna, who shocked her with the existence of beautiful transgender individuals in Indonesia. Stasya admitted feeling more confident after undergoing the operation to become a woman.
