Spending days behind bars does not make Vadel Badjideh lose hope. After attending a session at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (13/8/2025), Lolly's boyfriend shared a bit of his life story during detention.
When asked about his current condition, Vadel quickly replied that he is doing well. He tries to keep his physical and mental condition in top shape. "Good, good, Alhamdulillah," said Vadel.

Instead of lamenting his fate, Vadel admits to using his time to seek experiences and life lessons from his seniors at the Salemba detention center, East Jakarta.
"Just seek experiences with the more senior people there. So, give a lot of advice to the people there," he said.
He feels he received a lot of valuable advice that has left a lasting impression on his heart, though he is reluctant to detail what advice he received.
"Oh, there’s a lot, guys. It’s really great, like that," he said with a meaningful expression.
In addition, Vadel also continues to maintain his positive routine. He does not abandon his habit of exercising to keep his body fit. "Yes, I exercise regularly, exercise regularly too," he said.
Not only physically, but he also continues his spiritual activities. Vadel admits to remaining steadfast in his Quran recitation, a routine he has been practicing before.
"Yes, I will continue. God willing, God willing, I will keep going," he added.
When asked about his impression of seemingly accepting the punishment, Vadel gave a wise answer. For him, the most important thing right now is to go through the process sincerely. "Keep processing, whatever it is, sincerely," he emphasized.
