Inside the mat where Ifan stands, a pot filled with hot water and spices has been prepared.
The pot with spices is what Ifan Seventeen has to stir while sitting on the mat earlier.
While Ifan Seventeen is inside the mat, the top part is covered with cloth to prevent the steam of the spices from coming out.
This betangas is a tradition of steaming bath using spices. This tradition is part of the wedding process for the prospective bride and groom.
Ifan Seventeen and Citra Monica initially held their engagement on April 6, 2021.
Tomorrow (29/5) they will hold the wedding ceremony and reception, which is planned to be broadcasted live on television.
