Steffi Zamora Has a Desire to Become Better After Filming 'PENGIN HIJRAH'

Kapanlagi.com - Young actress Steffi Zamora admitted that she learned a lot during the filming of her latest movie titled PENGIN HIJRAH. Through her role in this film, Steffi gained a deeper understanding of the journey of hijrah, especially in the context of seeking a positive environment and self-improvement. In the film PENGIN HIJRAH, Steffi plays the character Alina, a young social media influencer who decides to get closer to her faith.

"As for Alina, she is a social media influencer. So, she has been a social media influencer for quite some time, and she has a best friend," said Steffi Zamora when met in the Sunter area, North Jakarta, on Monday (11/11/2024).

The character Alina has a desire for hijrah inspired by her friend who has decided to change first. "Why does she want to hijrah? Because she has a friend who just hijrahed. So, she is always encouraged by her friend to hijrah. So actually, this film tells the story of her hijrah journey," explained Steffi.

1. The Desire to Be Better

Playing as Alina made Steffi reflect on her own journey of self-improvement in her personal life. Although changing oneself is not easy, she feels drawn to becoming a better person.

"Everyone surely wants to change for the better. Wanting to make a change might be too heavy, but there is definitely a process to become better," she said.

Steffi admitted that the experience of delving into Alina's role made her feel even more motivated to improve herself. "I was quite moved by this film. Because I had to get into Alina's character," she said with a smile.

The character Alina is also very relate to Steffi's life, especially in terms of choosing a positive environment. According to Steffi, it is important for someone to have friends who support self-improvement.

"Alina, who relate perhaps represents the journey of choosing friends or choosing an environment," she added.

3. About the Film PENGIN HIJRAH

Steffi also added that the journey of seeking a healthy and positive environment is something that many people have experienced. "Actually, yes, everyone must have experienced that. So the relate part is more about that. I mean choosing the right path," said Steffi Zamora.

The film PENGIN HIJRAH itself is a work from the production house Sinemata Buana Kreasindo in collaboration with Multi Buana Kreasindo Production. This film is expected to inspire the audience about the meaning of hijrah and self-improvement.

The filming process is planned to start on November 14, with shooting locations in several places in Indonesia and Uzbekistan. Besides Steffi Zamora, this film will also feature several other stars such as Endy Arfian, Daffa Wardhana, and Karina Suwandi.
