The largest dangdut talent search event in Indonesia, Dangdut Academy is back with its latest season, D'Academy 8. This program aired on Indosiar opens opportunities for young Indonesian talents aged 14-23 from various regions to showcase their dangdut singing talents through the online audition route.

Don't worry, the entire online audition process for D'Academy 8 is free of charge, meaning anyone has the same opportunity to participate in the selection and become the future dangdut star. Before registration opens, understand the steps below!

The online audition registration period starts from April 10 to May 10, 2026. Prepare yourselves if you were born between 2003 and 2012.

The first step participants need to take is to prepare audition photos and videos. Participants are asked to prepare a maximum of 2 photos, namely a close-up photo and a full-body photo.

Both photos must have a maximum file size of 5 MB per photo. In addition, participants also need to prepare a singing audition video that will later be uploaded to each participant's social media. This is your chance to appear confidently.

After the photos and videos are ready, participants must fill out the online registration form. In this stage, participants are asked to upload the prepared photos and enter the link to the audition video that has been uploaded to their personal social media.

Once the registration process is complete and the data is deemed complete, participants will proceed to the next audition stage. The selection process is conducted in stages, starting from the initial stage to the final stage.
