Still Collecting Evidence, Police Cannot Determine Vanessa Angel's Driver's Status Yet

In the post, Jody appeared to be driving at high speed. Because of this, people are curious about Jody's current status.

The Traffic Director of East Java Regional Police, Kombes Latif Usman, admitted that they have not been able to determine Jody's status yet. Until now, they are still in the process of collecting supporting evidence.

"We will conduct an examination first before we can determine his status. We don't speculate, what matters is that this evidence is complete and then we present it. That's how the process works," he said, as quoted from Liputan6.com on Friday (5/11/2021).

1. Still Conducting Witness Assistance

Latif said that they do not want any controversy in society while the police gather evidence. All investigation processes are conducted according to applicable procedures.

"The important thing when collecting evidence and witness statements is to gather as much as possible, so as not to create controversy in society. The important thing is that the investigation process must be in accordance with the procedure," he said.

Until now, the police have not entered the investigation stage, only the preliminary investigation. This includes communicating, providing assistance, and calmness to the witnesses so that they can provide statements according to what actually happened.

"This is what we hope for, so that our concentration is truly on saving the victims first. We have conducted several crime scene investigations. We gather all the information and evidence available to conduct the investigation," concluded Latif.
