Sue Gen Halilintar Family for 9.5 Million, Nagaswara Presents Expert Witness

Kapanlagi.com - The trial regarding allegations of copyright infringement filed by Nagaswara music label against the Gen Halilintar family has entered the evidence stage.

To convince the judge to grant their lawsuit, Nagaswara has presented an expert witness in the trial held on Wednesday, (19/2).

1. The Expert Witness is the Deputy Director

The expert witness is Agung Damar Sasongko. He is the Deputy Director of legal services in the copyright directorate. Agung's testimony in the courtroom, acknowledged by Yos Mulyadi as Nagaswara's legal representative, has been very helpful.

"During the trial, we presented the expert testimony from the copyright department. In essence, we strengthen our argument and lawsuit," said Yos after the trial.

2. Bringing Back Witnesses

Nagaswara plans to bring back expert witnesses in the next hearing, which will be held on Monday (24/2).

"We will try to bring in several factual witnesses if that's the case, and we will also consider adding experts based on the opposing party's arguments. If they need to be countered, we will counter. Because we have a tight schedule and need a verdict within 90 days," he said.

It should be noted that PT Nagaswara Publisherindo Musik has filed a civil lawsuit for alleged copyright infringement against Atta Halilintar's parents, Halilintar Anofial Asmid and Lenggogeni Umar Faruk, at the Central Jakarta District Court.
