Supported by Tantri Kotak, Peek at 10 Portraits of Arda Naff's Action Figure Collection - Hoping Not to Go Overboard

His wife bought him a glass cabinet so that her husband can continue to admire the collection he has gathered and kept all this time.  

"This (pointing to the glass cabinet) is hers (Tantri's)," said Arda when met by the kapanlagi.com team at his residence, Ciganjur area, South Jakarta, Thursday (11/7/2024).

Not all of Arda's action figure collections are in new condition. In fact, Arda said that getting what he wants is a struggle.

"Even getting this (Joker figure) used, it had dirt on it, I cleaned it until it was spotless," said the father of two children.  

According to Arda, every action figure he owns is indeed a superhero that he likes. Like Iron Man, Captain America, Batman, and the Black Steel Knight placed in his family's living room.  

"If I've liked these figures since I was a child, they are the saviors of my childhood, so having heroic figures is very important for children because they have a figure that explains goodness in a complex way, because seeing superheroes makes them do good things like this, be evil like that, be cunning like this," Arda explained.  

Arda himself is grateful that he can now truly own action figures of the superheroes he likes. Moreover, it is something he has wanted since he was a child, but couldn't due to his economic situation.

"But since I was little, because of limitations, I can say that I didn't have any, so I just buy toys if my friends have them and I touch them, not allowed, many adults have avenged their childhood," said Arda.

What she is most grateful for, Tantri also does not hinder her hobby of collecting action figures. His wife only advised him not to go overboard and forget his duties as the head of the household.  

"She (Tantri) once said to me like this, as long as the household is sufficient and everything, it's okay, it's better for you to tell me than for me to find out from someone else," he concluded.
