Based on this fact, Juragan 99 and MS Glow took the initiative to hold a free mudik for people who want to return to their hometowns, especially in Central Java and East Java regions. A total of 450 people were transported for free from Jakarta using 10 Juragan99 Trans buses on Friday (4/29).
Gilang Widya Pramana, founder of Juragan 99 Corp, said that this year's mudik ritual is special and should be celebrated together. He believes that this year's mudik activities will be enthusiastically welcomed by the people.
"This is where we from Juragan 99 Corp and MS Glow want to be part of completing the happiness of the Indonesian people who want to mudik for free. This is the first mudik activity that we have held," said Gilang when giving his speech in Jakarta on Friday (4/29).
Gilang said that this free homecoming activity was the peak of the series of sharing activities that Juragan 99 Corp had carried out throughout Ramadan this year. He mentioned sharing activities with the community, including the distribution of 1000 takjil for breaking the fast in Surabaya, Malang, and Jakarta. Then there was also a free booster vaccine for 416 people in Jakarta, as well as a Ramadan boarding school program called Lentera Ramadhan held in Malang.
"We realize that activities involving community participation are very important. Of course, our hope is that all the activities we have done can provide benefits and goodness to others, especially in difficult times like now," said the husband of philanthropist and entrepreneur, Shandy Purnamasari.
Meanwhile, for this free homecoming activity, Juragan 99 and MS Glow will transport homecomers to Solo, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Malang.
For this activity, there is also collaboration with the government through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. In this activity, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, will release the participants of Juragan 99 and MS Glow's free homecoming from the Sapta Pesona Building of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in Jakarta.
The event was opened with the typical tanjidor art of the capital and the symbolic handover of Lebaran hampers, goodie bags, and THR for the participants. After the series of events, the bus departed at 08.00 WIB marked by the flag-off carried out directly by Shandhy Purnamasari, Gilang Widya Pramana, and Minister Sandiaga Uno.
"In this activity, homecomers receive 1 hamper package for 1 family. We are also happy because this activity is released directly by Minister Sandiaga Uno," said Gilang.
