Suspect of Embezzlement Allegations Wants to Report Back to the Police Because Feeling Intimidated, Jessica Iskandar: So Funny and Weird

Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag are amazed by the behavior of Christoper Stefanus Budianto alias Steven, who is the suspect of the embezzlement case that caused her to lose Rp 9.8 billion. The Steven party is reportedly going to report back Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag to the police. No wonder, the woman who is familiarly called Jedar is also surprised, especially since she herself is a victim who suffered losses from Steven's actions.

When met in the Setia Budi area, South Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (27/11), Jedar expressed her feelings of losing the results of her hard work since the age of 16. The one who is greatly disadvantaged in this case is herself.

"This is funny and really strange. If he feels intimidated, what does it feel like to be me? What does it feel like to be my family whose money you took, what does it feel like for me to work from 16 years old morning till morning," said Jessica Iskandar.

"I just asked 'why did you bring my money' you feel intimidated, how about me whose money you brought. How hurtful it is for me if a problem like this is called intimidation, it's so funny, so strange. The one who should feel hurt, mental pain, and loss is me, so I'm confused how to respond," she continued.

Not only that, Jessica Iskandar also feels confused about how Steven can evade the police summons for 18 months. Until now, she admitted that she doesn't know what Steven's reason is for completely ignoring the summons from the authorities regarding her report.

"Because he evaded for 18 months, that's considered very long. We're also confused how can this suspect never come when the police summon him, even government officials would attend if called by the police, why can't he attend. What's the reason? Work?" she said.

On the same occasion, Vincent Verhaag assessed that Steven's reason for evading the investigator's summons due to work matters in order to return the money he had taken away was unreasonable. How come, because there was no communication from Steven at all regarding his statement.

"That's not the reason now because he's in Thailand doing business, to return the money. Now, logically, during 18 months of evading, why didn't you communicate and say 'be patient, I'm doing business here, I'm trying to return the money' all this time he was silent and suddenly he got caught and said oh no, I'm in Thailand because of business," Vincent Verhaag concluded.
