Suspected of Committing Assault, Chintami Atmanegara's Son Faces Prison Sentence

Kapanlagi.com - The son of Oddie Agam and Chintami Atmanegara, Dio Alit Utama, has been reported for alleged assault by a woman named Deanni Ivanda. The report was confirmed by the Head of Crime Unit of South Jakarta Police, AKP Ricky Pranata.

"So, it is true that on August 8, 2020, the complainant named initials DI reported to South Jakarta Metropolitan Police for alleged assault, Article 351 of the Criminal Code. The incident occurred at Jalan Jamrud 5 No. 32, Permata Hijau, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta," Ricky said when interviewed at South Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Wednesday (9/9).

2. Investigation in Progress

Currently, the police are conducting an investigation and will summon witnesses in the near future. The plan is to conduct a marathon examination of the witnesses and still waiting for the results of the autopsy.

"So for this case, we have already conducted an examination. We have scheduled to summon the victim or the complainant themselves. We have conducted the examination, but the process is still ongoing," he said.

3. Marathon Examination

Furthermore, the examination of the witnesses is being conducted in a marathon manner. Currently, the autopsy results are still not available.

"For future witnesses, we will examine them in a marathon manner. Then, we are still waiting for the results of the autopsy from the hospital," he added.

4. Prison Threat

The incident started with an argument that eventually led to assault. As a result, Putra, the son of Chintami Atmanegara, faces a four-year prison sentence based on the report.

"Article 351 allows us to detain later. The threat is four years. The victim has already given a statement. We haven't taken the security's statement yet. It is possible that the victim admitted to the argument, but we cannot disclose it here. There were issues that eventually led to the actions taken by the accused," he concluded.
