Kapanlagi.com - Actress Kimberly Ryder reported her husband, Edward Akbar, to the police for alleged theft of a car on June 27, 2024. This was stated by Nurma Dewi, the Head of Public Relations of South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi.
"Yes, that's correct. The report from Ms. KR was made on Thursday, June 20, 2024, around 7 PM at the South Jakarta Police Station," said Nurma Dewi to journalists at the South Jakarta Metro Police Station on Wednesday (July 17, 2024).
In addition to her husband, Kimberly Ryder reported another person with the initials NL regarding this embezzlement case. In fact, the police have scheduled examinations for both suspects.
"This has been scheduled. But we still examine witnesses who saw, heard, or were also at the scene of the incident," said Nurma Dewi.
Nurma said that the police have examined two witnesses regarding this issue. Namely, Kimberly as the reporter, and her mother.
"We have indeed examined two witnesses, namely the reporter or victim, and another one is KR's (Kimberly Ryder) mother," she said.
Nurma explained that this embezzlement allegation occurred in 2023. In May 2024, Kimberly requested the return of the car unit, but it has not yielded results yet.
"So for that (embezzlement) last year in May 2023, then the reporter asked for it again in May 2024, asking for the return of the entrusted unit. That's why we will examine witnesses to clarify the reported case," she said.
