Suspected Victim of Malpractice, 10 Portraits of Nanie Darham 'AIR TERJUN PENGANTIN' Who Died During Liposuction Surgery - Just Gave Birth 2 Months Earlier

Nanie Darham underwent liposuction procedure at a clinic in South Jakarta on October 21, 2023, with an operation cost of Rp 300 million, as reported by bogor.inews.id.

Armed with the results of medical examinations through blood tests according to the clinic's referral, which showed the general health quality to be in good condition, Nanie Darham was taken care of from 13:35 to 17:40 WIB.

However, just five minutes after the surgery, Nanie Darham was taken to RS Dr. Suyoto, Bintaro, South Jakarta by ambulance in a state of death accompanied by blood coming out from the eyes and nose.

Seeing the suspiciousness of Nanie Darham's death, the family immediately reported the clinic for alleged criminal malpractice. During the report, the family attached the results of the autopsy from RS Polri Jakarta Timur.

Hartono Tanuwidjaja, the legal representative of Nanie Darham's family, stated that the autopsy results noted three wounds on the victim's body, namely one wound on the back of the hand and two incisions on the abdomen.

Not only that, the family also requested a forensic laboratory examination to detect body organ samples and determine what types of drugs entered the victim's body. The lab results will be released at the end of November.

Nanie Darham was known to have given birth two months before undergoing plastic surgery. However, the clinic was able to perform liposuction without risks even though the patient had not reached six months postpartum.
