Kapanlagi.com - Jesslyn Anastasia's decision to become an influencer certainly has a reason, especially since gaining popularity through social media is not an easy thing. Jesslyn also chose to switch gears from her job in the fashion world, because of the encouragement from her brother, Steven Setiono.

However, initially she refused this with the reason of lack of confidence, but the younger sister of crazy rich Surabaya eventually gave in thanks to the support of her family. Nevertheless, Jesslyn did not want to leave her old world behind, with a total of over 75 thousand followers, she succeeded with content about beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.

"Initially, I was a fashion designer from 2015-2019, then I stopped working, and in 2021 I joined with my brother, Steven Setiono," said the owner of the Instagram account @jesslynanastasias when contacted on Friday (6/23).

"I was told to join the influencer world a long time ago but I kept refusing, and because of the support of my mother and family, I finally joined," she continued.

For her, being a content creator certainly has demands to create content, which was once a challenge. Moreover, she admitted to feeling awkward and uncomfortable when in front of the camera.

"I'm not confident in front of the camera, it was difficult at first, awkward. It's hard to update on social media every day, especially since I'm naturally introverted," she said.

In addition, Jesslyn admits that the influencer world is quite toxic with many envious and judgmental people. Nevertheless, Jesslyn still enjoys her profession because she can benefit many people, and she doesn't care about criticism.

"It's even harder in this world (influencer) when there are many judgmental and gossiping people. If there are negative netizens, I just ignore them. It's different if they ask about my skincare and fashion purchases, I like that," she concluded.
