Syakir Daulay Once Contributed Rp 200 Thousand to Participate in Sacrifice on the Day of Idul Adha

Kapanlagi.com - Syakir Daulay tells his experience of contributing together with his friends in order to participate in sacrifice on the day of Idul Adha. It was the first time for Syakir and nine of his friends to participate in sacrifice.

When met in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon (28/7), Syakir said that at that time he and his friends sacrificed with the intention of caring and helping the less fortunate. Because for him, to be able to participate in sacrifice, it is not necessary to wait until you have a lot of money.

1. Syakir Daulay's Story

"Syakir tells the story of the first time he participated in a joint sacrifice with his friends. So, back then, individuals couldn't buy a goat, right? So Syakir and 9 other friends contributed Rp 200,000 each. For what? The intention was to build our sense of caring for the poor and also for our religion," said Syakir.

"So even though Syakir couldn't sacrifice alone in the past, he could now sacrifice on his own. It makes me very happy. So, for friends who want to sacrifice but can't do it alone, just contribute with friends. The important thing is the learning and the rewards, don't wait until you have a lot of money," he continued

2. Career on the Rise

Now Syakir's career can be said to be on the rise, which is why this year during the Eid al-Adha holiday, he can already sacrifice on his own. He is also grateful that even in the midst of a pandemic like this, he has been blessed with more sustenance, allowing him to participate in sacrificing a cow on the upcoming Eid al-Adha.

"Alhamdulillah, I sacrificed at the Majelis Ta'lim. Yes, there was a cow sacrifice. I am grateful that in the midst of this pandemic, I can still participate in sacrificing. Alhamdulillah," he said.
