Celebrities with Initials VS Allegedly Involved in Prostitution in Lampung, Vernita Syabilla Becomes the Spotlight

Kapanlagi.com - Cases of artists involved in prostitution may not be new in the entertainment world. This issue is still circulating even amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Yes, at least according to Liputan6.com, an artist with the initials VS was arrested for this case on Tuesday (28/7).

The artist was arrested by the police unit and the Women and Child Protection Unit (PPA) of the Bandar Lampung Police Criminal Investigation Unit in a room at a star hotel in the Bandar Lampung area.

1. Arrested with Two Men

Not alone, according to Liputan6.com, VS was arrested together with two men with the initials I and M. Both are allegedly pimps for VS. Until now, there has been no official release regarding the identity of VS. However, many have focused on Vernita Syabilla.

From her Instagram story, Vernita appeared to be in Pontianak, West Kalimantan on the same day. Previously, Vernita also uploaded a photo of her negative Covid-19 rapid test result.

2. Accused of Being a Mistress

Vernita herself is not a new celebrity in the entertainment world. At least, her name was also in the spotlight in 2019. She was accused of being Richie Five Minutes' mistress. At that time, Richie already had a wife named Angel Qulbiah.

Because a video of Richie and Vernita singing karaoke and driving in the same car surfaced. As a result, Angel became enraged. On the other hand, Vernita, who knew about this issue, spoke up because she was also called a home-wrecker and social climber.

"There's nothing (between me and Richie). We're just friends, nothing more. It's really shocking, never expected to be called a social climber. There was absolutely no intention (to ruin their marriage) and I didn't expect (to be called a home-wrecker and social climber)," said Vernita Syabilla when interviewed on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Thursday (21/2/2019).

4. A Dangdut Singer

Vernita is also a woman with a golden voice. At least, in mid-2019, she released a single Dangdut song titled Kokoh Tampan.

"Alhamdulillah, it's done in just two hours because it's very simple, easy to remember by the public, not difficult. This is dangdut music, the current style, house remix," said Vernita at that time.
