Sylvia Fully Debut as Annoying and Temperamental Antagonist

Kapanlagi.com - The beautiful actress Sylvia Fully has been cast as an antagonist in the latest soap opera titled Putri Mahkota on ANTV. This is a challenge for Sylvia as she has to portray an antagonist character. Moreover, the Bandung-born woman rarely gets antagonist roles in any of her previous films or soap operas.

Usually, in every film or feature film, Sylvia Fully often plays the role of a protagonist or a kind-hearted woman who is always oppressed. But in the soap opera Putri Mahkota, the 31-year-old woman has to act as an annoying woman. Naturally, this is a role that is disliked by the audience.

"It's not a difficulty, but a challenge. Because previously I mostly played protagonists, usually suffering and crying. Here, I have to have a firm tone, so it's really challenging," said Sylvia Fully at Persari Studio, South Jakarta, on Thursday (16/1/2020).

Although it's her first time playing an antagonist role in a soap opera, Sylvia Fully admits to enjoying it. Moreover, she also receives full support from friends involved in the soap opera.

"I just enjoy the role because I like challenges, I just enjoy it. It just requires adaptation and support from other friends," she continued.

Sylvia Fully will portray a character named Rania. "I am Rania here, Rania is a figure who doesn't want to be defeated by anyone, selfish and temperamental," she explained.

Playing an antagonist role in a soap opera will definitely have an impact on real life. Moreover, the role played makes viewers at home angry. It seems that Sylvia also feels it.

"Now I am starting to be influenced. So in Putri Mahkota, Rania is the only antagonist. A very annoying figure. Alhamdulillah, Putri Mahkota is already known to people and suddenly there are many people criticizing Rania and everything," Sylvia concluded.

The soap opera Putri Mahkota airs at 18:00 WIB every Monday to Sunday on ANTV. Besides Sylvia, several famous actors and actresses are involved, such as Gunawan Sudrajat, Rama Michael, Mayang Yudhitia, and many others.
