Synopsis of Fairy Tail Tenrou Island Arc, Unveiling the Ankhseram Curse

1. Synopsis

On the ship, the rules of the exam are explained: participants must find their own way and gather requirements to advance to the next round. Natsu and Happy choose route E, meeting Gildarts Clive, who serves as the mysterious examiner, while other pairs like Gray-Juvia and Cana-Lucy face unique challenges.

The tense atmosphere dramatically changes when they arrive at the island and discover the presence of Grimoire Heart, one of the darkest guilds of the Balam Alliance led by Master Hades.

Grimoire Heart attacks with full force, targeting Zeref, who turns out to be on the island as a mysterious young man named Mavis. Azuma, Rustyrose, and Kain slaughter Fairy Tail members, while Levy is saved by Gajeel from Kawazu and Yomazu.

A massive battle erupts, with Erza fighting Azuma, who controls the Great Tree Tenrou, while Lucy and Cana struggle against Rustyrose with his horror magic.

Natsu and Happy encounter Hades at the heart of the tree, triggering an epic battle where Hades reveals his plan to resurrect Zeref.

Makarov confronts Hades directly, using Fairy Law but fails completely as Hades is immune as an ancient sorcerer. Laxus Dreyar arrives to help, showcasing his character development after his time in exile.

2. Unity of All Guilds

At the height of the conflict, Zeref appears and reveals the Ankhseram curse that compels him to kill everything he touches. He meets Natsu, recognizing their past connection, but the conflict pauses momentarily.

Grimoire Heart is on the verge of victory, but the spirit of Fairy Tail rises with the help of all members, including Wendy and Carla, who discover the truth about the future.

The climactic battle occurs as the entire guild unites against Hades. Natsu activates Dragon Force with the help of Happy, Gray, Lucy, Erza, Wendy, and Laxus in a combined attack that destroys Hades.

3. Victory

Victory was celebrated briefly before Acnologia, the legendary black dragon, appeared due to Zeref's anger.

Acnologia destroyed Tenrou Island with his deadly breath. Mavis Vermillion, the founder of Fairy Tail, appeared and activated the Fairy Sphere, a protective magic that froze time for the main guild members for seven years. The island vanished, and the surviving Fairy Tail looked weak in the eyes of the magic world.

This arc ends with a cliffhanger in the year X791, where the heroes wake up and find their guild in decline. They are determined to rise again through the Grand Magic Games, with the power of Second Origin granted by Ultear as a reward.
