Synopsis of Noragami Stray Arc, Yato vs Yukine Fight

1. Synopsis

Yukine, now named "Hagusa" by Father using The Word, delves into his tragic childhood memories, including the search for his parents and the discovery of how he was killed by his own father.

Father exploits this trauma to twist Yukine, transforming him into a darker form with the ability of black vines that trap enemies.

Hiyori Iki, after her grandmother's death, joins in uncovering Yukine's past with Stray, which leads her to the location of Yukine's hidden corpse in a refrigerator, preventing Father from completely taking over Yukine. Hiyori hears Yukine's sorrowful story from his sister, strengthening her resolve to support Yato.

Yato throws a birthday party for Yukine as a form of affection, but their relationship fractures when Yato is severely injured due to the blight from Yukine's anger at feeling betrayed.

Other gods like Ebisu, Takemikazuchi, Tenjin, and Kofuku also search for the Crafter's grave to stop his threat.
