Kapanlagi.com - The anime Haigakura is an adaptation of a Japanese manga written by Shinobu Takayama. The series was first serialized in the shōjo magazine Ichijinsha, Comic Zero Sum WARD, from January 2008 to May 2015.

After the serialization ended, the manga continued on the Zero-Sum Online website in September 2015. As of October 2024, the manga has been compiled into seventeen volumes of tankōbon.

The Haigakura anime adaptation was announced on August 24, 2023, and aired from October 7, 2024, to September 26, 2025, with a total of 13 episodes.

Synopsis

The world in this anime is supported by four gods known as the Four Evils. When two of them escape, chaos ensues and famine strikes the country of the Eight Gods.

To restore stability, the Kashikan, song officers, emerge to capture the escaped gods using their songs and dances. The main character, Ichiyo, is a Kashikan who is considered a "failure" because he cannot sing, even though he is an excellent dancer.

Ichiyo is forced to take on this job to save his adoptive father who has been captured. He travels to modern Japan to capture the evil gods and restore the balance of the world, aided by the god Tenko and the familiar Kaka.
