Synopsis of the Fairy Tail Phantom Lord Arc, Mission of Revenge and Great War Between Guilds

However, Team Natsu is shocked to find their guild destroyed by a giant iron beam thrown by the rival guild, Phantom Lord.

Makarov, the master of Fairy Tail, initially wants to quell the conflict, but the situation worsens when three members of Fairy Tail, including Levy from Shadow Gear, are attacked and hospitalized by Gajeel Redfox, the Iron Dragon Slayer from Phantom Lord. Furious, Makarov declares an official war against Phantom Lord.

1. Synopsis

Fairy Tail directly attacks the Phantom Lord's headquarters in Oak Town, where they fight against the guild members without the presence of Element 4, the elite group of Phantom Lord.

Meanwhile, Lucy, who was left in the guild to watch over her friends, is kidnapped by Juvia Lockser (a water manipulator) and Sol from Element 4. Natsu and the others quickly pursue, but Lucy is taken to the actual headquarters of Phantom Lord located in the countryside.

In front of Jose Porla, the master of Phantom Lord, Makarov is shocked to see Jose's mind projection showing Lucy as a hostage. Jose reveals that Lucy's father, Jude Heartfilia, hired Phantom Lord to capture his daughter for an arranged marriage, and this guild wants to extort the Heartfilia family's wealth.

Aria from Element 4 uses her magic to absorb Makarov's magic, severely injuring the Fairy Tail master and forcing the Fairy Tail forces to retreat.

Lucy manages to escape from her cell by tricking Jose, then jumps from a height and is saved by Natsu, who arrives just in time.

The two rush back to Fairy Tail, while the Phantom Lord's headquarters transforms into a giant walking fortress with mechanical legs, approaching the Fairy Tail guild. Jose, in anger, orders the firing of the extremely powerful Jupiter magic cannon.

2. Infiltrating the Enemy Base

Erza Scarlet uses Adamantine armor to fend off Jupiter's explosion, but is severely injured from the attack. Jose demands that Lucy be handed over in 15 minutes, or Jupiter will be fired again, while calling forth the Shades army from his magic.

The Fairy Tail members fight fiercely against the Shades, while Natsu, aided by Happy, infiltrates the Phantom Lord's base to disable the cannon.

A fierce battle ensues: Gray fights Juvia and wins her heart, Elfman Strauss defeats Sol and regains his Take Over power, Erza meets Aria, while Natsu faces Gajeel in an epic Dragon Slayer duel.

3. Phantom Lord Defeated

Lucy was briefly captured again by Gajeel, but was freed by the team. Fairy Tail successfully sabotaged it from within, destroying Jupiter.

Makarov recovers and faces Jose in a guild master battle, unleashing the giant magic "Fairy Law" that destroys the Shades army and defeats Jose.

Phantom Lord is thoroughly defeated, and the guild is disbanded by the Magic Council due to severe violations. Gajeel and Juvia join Fairy Tail after this defeat.
