Systematic Defamation Attack on Rossa, Perpetrators Given Time to Delete Content and Apologize

The defamation case against Rossa is suspected to be more than just the antics of ordinary netizens. Rossa's legal team has detected a structured and coordinated movement aimed at undermining the reputation of the "Tegar" singer in the national entertainment scene.

This suspicion arises because the posting patterns from dozens of these social media accounts show similarities, both in terms of content and timing. This raises suspicions that certain parties are financing this movement.

"From what I see, this is already well-coordinated, and I suspect that it may be competitors who do not like Rossa's continued presence in the industry," said Natalia Rusli when met in the Darmawangsa area, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/4/2026).

According to the legal team's observations, these individuals are using the same narrative to damage Rossa's image. They suspect that there are parties deliberately riding on the Diva's big name for certain interests or merely seeking sensation (pansos).

"It is suspected that someone is coordinating this so that it is well organized; I see the wording is all like a template," added Natalia Rusli.

This warning step is also a form of protection for Rossa, who has been in her career for decades. The management team believes that this attack has entered a systematic stage to undermine the artist's status.

"Next, we need to emphasize why we are making this warning today because it has come across as systematic to downgrade her as a celebrity in the country. Therefore, we need to do this," added M. Ikhsan Tualeka.

Nevertheless, Rossa's side is still giving a little leeway through this warning. They hope that the perpetrators who may just be following along (FOMO) will soon realize and delete the negative content before facing the police.

This opportunity is given so that netizens can learn about the boundaries of using social media. Rossa's team wants to educate that freedom of expression should not violate the rights and dignity of others.

"Why don't we take legal action or report it? Because we want to give netizens who may not understand that what they did has violated the law a chance or time," he explained.

"Or then they just have FOMO and follow along, or they become part of a group that wants to systematically bring down Mbak Rossa to quickly take down her content and also convey an apology," concluded Ikhsan Tualeka.
