Negative news regarding Rossa being said to have experienced a failed plastic surgery has finally been taken seriously. Rossa's legal counsel stated that the news is entirely a manipulation of content deliberately created to sway negative opinion.

The modus operandi used by the perpetrators is to take original videos of Rossa, then combine them with false narratives. This makes it seem as if the news of the surgery failure is a true fact.

"For example, Ms. Rossa underwent a failed surgery, whereas Ms. Rossa did not have any surgery," said Natalia Rusli when met in the Darmawangsa area, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/4/2026).

Despite many fake accounts being used, Rossa's legal team claims to have an advanced system to track the whereabouts of the perpetrators. They assert that they can identify the user's address down to the details of the device used to upload the slander.

This technology facilitates the legal team in bringing the account owners to justice if the cease and desist letter is ignored. Rossa's side will not remain silent even if the perpetrators hide behind fake identities on social media.

"To the dozens of accounts that I am sure cannot be held accountable for their truth. And I have also identified the accounts that are indeed using fake accounts," said Natalia Rusli explaining.

"But we have a system or team that can identify up to the IMEI of the mobile phone and can identify the address of the IMEI user as well as the location where the mobile phone is used," she continued.

More detailed explanations regarding this content manipulation were also revealed by the legal team. They highlighted how Rossa's creative assets, such as videos and music, were misused to gain engagement from netizens.

The perpetrators deliberately "stitched" these assets with false information. As a result, Rossa's reputation as Indonesia's Diva is at risk of being damaged due to these unaccountable narratives.

"Mbak Rossa's songs are used, her face is shown, but the content of the news is manipulated like that. For example, it says that Mbak Rossa had a failed operation. In fact, Mbak Rossa did not have surgery," he said.

"As an artist, a diva has a makeup artist who must follow trends, what kind of makeup trends, but it cannot be said that suddenly the concept from Mbak Rossa at that time was adjusted with the makeup artist," Natalia added.

Now, Rossa's legal team is waiting for a response from the account owners within 24 hours. If there is no public apology, the digital evidence that has been collected will be handed over to the authorities immediately.
