The figure of Virgoun suddenly became a hot topic after his wife revealed his long-standing affair.
His wife also mentioned that Virgoun sent a sum of money to his mistress, which amounted to nearly IDR 200 million.
Although he initially remained silent after the news of his affair became the center of attention, Virgoun eventually spoke up through his YouTube channel.
He apologized to his children and mentioned changes in his feelings, but did not elaborate further.
Due to the scandal, Virgoun, who is known to be a convert, was also scrutinized. It was even rumored that the beginning of his conversion to Islam was due to a bet.
Virgoun revealed the moment on Onad's channel, stating that it all started with a challenge and bet from his sister Inara, which led him to firmly embrace Islam.
"She was like challenging me, 'Do you want to learn about religion with me?' If you don't convert to my religion within a short period of time, I will convert to your religion," said the former vocalist of Last Child.
Unexpectedly, starting from the challenge and bet, Virgoun admitted that he became more deeply interested in learning about Islam and met many figures who guided him.
