In her post, Tasya included a series of photos summarizing her contributions during her LPDP service period from 2018 to 2023, complete with detailed written explanations.
Tasya admitted that she is often asked about her contributions as an alumni awardee of the LPDP scholarship. Especially lately, the LPDP issue has become a controversy. For her, people have the right to ask about it, especially as fellow citizens who pay taxes; she understands that many people want to know how the state budget in the fields of education and human resource empowerment produces good outputs for the nation.
Without holding back, she also explained where she studied for her master's degree and her reasons for choosing that major when applying for the LPDP scholarship.
Tasya's post appeared shortly after the public heavily scrutinized the DS case, which sparked widespread debate about the moral responsibility of scholarship recipients towards Indonesia.
This mother of one also explained some of her achievements during her studies using the LPDP scholarship she received.
In the statement, Tasya wrote that LPDP gives trust to the awardees to contribute according to their capacities and paths, without a single standard.
Tasya explained her role as a bridge between the government and the public, including her involvement as an Environmental Ambassador with KLHK, participating in various educational programs, and her role as a member of the Kalpataru Advisory Council 2022. She also mentioned her collaborations with various ministries and state agencies, starting from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Communication and Information, Bappenas, KPK, to LPDP itself.
Tasya also highlights her contributions at the grassroots level through the Green Movement Indonesia foundation. She is actively educating about the environment, waste management, circular economy, as well as reforestation and mangrove planting movements. In the photo, she writes that the community she has built involves more than 500 volunteers and collaborates with the FMCG and retail sectors to provide packaging waste dropboxes.
Next, she showcases her role in empowering Indonesian youth. Tasya notes that she has been a speaker at more than 100 events, visited at least 50 schools and universities, and reached over 10,000 young people. She is also actively sharing educational experiences through social media, including tips for continuing studies and information about LPDP scholarships. One of her videos about her master's degree experience is said to have been watched more than a million times on YouTube.
However, Tasya feels that her contributions to this country do not stop just because her term has ended. She emphasizes the importance of continuing to love Indonesia.
