Zaskia Sungkar Can Walk Immediately After Giving Birth, Uses ERACS Delivery Method

There is something different about the recovery process of Zaskia Sungkar after giving birth to her second son. Unlike the typical cesarean operation that requires a long recovery time, Zaskia appeared to be fit in a short time. This is because she used the latest delivery method called ERACS.

Zaskia admitted to being amazed by the advancements in medical technology that she experienced. She felt that the pain she experienced was very minimal, allowing her to interact actively with baby Urwah shortly after leaving the operating room.

"Thank God, this time we used a minimally painful delivery method (ERACS). On the first day after the surgery, I could already shower by myself and walk around the room. It's such a huge difference compared to the old days," said Zaskia Sungkar at RS Bunda Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday (23/2/2026).

Irwansyah also felt worried seeing his wife so active shortly after the surgery. However, after receiving an explanation from the doctor, he felt more at ease because active movement actually helps the recovery process.

"I was the one who was scared seeing it. Kia had only been a few hours post-surgery and already wanted to stand up. But the doctor said she really needs to move more for a quicker recovery," said Irwansyah.

From the medical side, Dr. Merry Amelia explained that the choice of this method is indeed aimed at accelerating patient mobilization. In addition, Zaskia's pregnancy condition has been well-prepared since the beginning of the embryo implantation.

Urwah's condition is very good and stable even though he was born earlier than initially expected. The medical team ensured that all health parameters were met very satisfactorily.

"For a slightly premature/early baby, this is very stable. Urwah was able to breastfeed well from his mother right away," concluded Dr. Tiwi, SpA.
