Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, the activities of comedian and actor Oki Rengga are getting busier. The man from Medan has just been cast as the lead in the latest comedy film produced by MD Pictures titled GAK ADA MATINYA.
The film, directed by Etienne Caesar and produced by Muhadkly Acho, has already begun filming. Oki revealed that this year's Ramadan is the busiest one for him.

The busy shooting schedule from morning to night, combined with the regular sahur program on television, makes him have to give up time to gather with family. In fact, he predicts that he will rarely return home during the fasting month.
"Because I am shooting this movie from morning until night, there is NO ENDING. If it's night until morning, I have the sahur program. There’s no moment for me to arrive, I’m not coming back to this house," he said when met at MD Place, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday (18/2/2026).
Although he has to work hard, Oki feels grateful for the abundant blessings. He admits that his wife is very understanding and never forbids him from taking on work, as long as he maintains his health.
Oki has also requested permission and promised to take a break and vacation with his family after Eid later.
"Permission, permission, permission. And he knows. He knows the time for permission with him, he said, 'Okay, this will be limited after this, take a break first. If you want to vacation alone, feel free,'" Oki shared about the support from his wife.
The film GAK ADA MATINYA tells the story of Binsar (Oki Rengga) who is in debt and hopes for his father's life insurance money, Pak Luhut (Mathias Muchus). However, the situation becomes chaotic and humorous when the father, who was thought to be dead, turns out to be in a coma and comes back to life.
This film also stars a number of big names such as Mikha Tambayong, Fedi Nuril, and Lolox. The CEO of MD Entertainment, Manoj Punjabi, hopes this film can bring a new flavor and succeed in the market. Currently, the film is in the production stage and is scheduled to be released in 2026.
